The following paper focuses on the use of Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI) in oncology patients. The purpose of this paper was to explore a nursing practice and its relevance of improving quality and safety measures in patient populations. Select articles that covered AAI and its effects were chosen and discussed in the paper.
