Planning the Journey

I feel good about my group and our ability to stay on task and on time. I’m working with 3 others that I communicate with daily and am constantly studying with. We’ve had a group chat since last year and we’re all on the SNA e-board. So you could say that we motivate each other to succeed and stay on track for the end goal: becoming nurses.

As I mentioned above, we already have good communication and that will continue once we start working on this EBP project. We will be able to come up with set plans for who needs to complete what tasks. We will hold each other to these tasks and talk if someone isn’t holding up their end of the bargain. Although we are friends, we still can bring up discussions if we aren’t all putting in the same amount of work.

I think we will benefit in this group since we already know each other well and we can easily communicate. I currently don’t see any barriers, but we will work on those as they arise.

I think this teamwork will help each of us in sharing work and responsibility. In the health care setting, we will be working in teams where each person brings there own expertise and skill. In this group, we are all different, and bring something unique to the table. We can use our strengths as a team to do our best possible work, all while working to become the best possible nurses.
