English 110: Introduces students to writing as a conscious and developmental activity. We learn to read, think, and write in response to texts, to integrate our ideas with those of others, and to treat writing as a recursive process. We gain techniques that can be used in other courses. We work individually and collaboratively, participate in peer review, and take more responsibility for our own writing development.
