This first comprehensive practice ATI went well for me. I scored an 80, which I’m happy with and it was the perfect number of questions to remediate without having to pick alternative topics from the class list. I did this test at a table to try and simulate a real test environment. I took a few breaks, the first one being after 50 questions. I found that as I got deeper into the questions, I was feeling tired and not wanting to read a computer screen. Our tests in nursing school are normally 50 questions, so this is triple that length. I did pause a few times for short breaks and when I started back up, I felt a bit more refreshed than before. I also decided to remediate shortly after finishing, because I find that it’s easier to recall questions and build upon knowledge. I will plan to take the next comprehensive practice ATI in a similar format, as I’m happy with how I did. I will also plan to practice more questions and go over material I struggled with.
