Use active reading to really think about what you’re reading, not just skimming through. Critique yourself and others in writing, like lab reports or other writing assignments. Always have someone to edit your paper and give you constructive criticism and be that person for others.

Which of these might you try and for which class?
I am using active reading in my bio class. When I read the chapters, I really try to imbed the information in my brain by reading carefully and asking myself questions. I have had people look over my lab reports in chem lab and I do the same for others. Of course in this class we revise each other’s work as well.
